GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with a CYSEC regulated Forex Broker who are currently looking to recruit a Compliance and AML Officer to join the team. For this role we are looking for a candidate who offers previous experience assisting within the Compliance Department and also holds both CySEC Certificates. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the day-to-day compliance and AML operations in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the company’s policies and procedures.

Performing risk assessments in relation to compliance and AML risks.

Assist in the drafting of compliance and AML related reports.

Draft, modify and implement the company's policies, procedures and handbooks, as needed to reflect industry best practices, the evolving regulatory environment and changes to the business.

Research, identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices.

Maintain oversight relevant Compliance registers.

Add in the function’s strategic planning and decision making.

Liaise with auditors/examiners during compliance audits/examinations as assigned.

Evaluate compliance systems and ensure their adequacy thereof.

Prepare, review and negotiate legal documents relating to the investment services and activities of the company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Educated to degree or master level in Law or the equivalent.

CySEC Advanced certification and CySEC AML certification.

Solid experience in a legal and compliance related role in an EU investment Firm.

Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations affecting business operations.

Ability to interpret and advice on the application of various laws and regulations.

Able to multitask, work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details.

Fluent in written and spoken English, and good knowledge of Greek.
