On behalf of our client, an exciting, up and coming Forex Broker Company based in Limassol, GRS are seeking to recruit a Legal Advisor. The ideal candidate must be a certified Lawyer by the Cyprus or UK’s Bar, with experience in Labour, corporate and external/internal Lawyer of a Forex Brokerage. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting in completing the regulatory applications in order to:
    • Acquire new Broker License
    • Maintain the current regulatory Licenses
    • Open bank accounts
  • Provide legal and operational support to the team
  • Drafting the relevant agreements / cooperate docs of the company
  • Responding to legal queries from the management of the Company
  • Perform other legal duties as assigned or requested
  • Performing high-level reviews and inspections to assess the Company’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations and the effectiveness of the internal policies and control procedures
  • Guiding and supporting the business units on compliance/regulatory matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Professional language skills in English - native / fluent
  • Certified lawyer - by the CY bar or by UK’s bar
  • A relevant degree LLB / LLM
  • Holder of Cysec advance certificate
  • Experience-
    • As the external / internal lawyer of FX company
    • Cooperate law
    • Labour law
  • A sound knowledge of: the Contract Law; the Banking Act, the Securities Trading Act;  MiFid and CySec’s regulation; as well as an understanding of European financial regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and credibility with senior management
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet multiple competing deadlines in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
