GRS Recruitment is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel with a prestigious Pharmaceutical company located in Nicosia. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in aligning legal operations with the company's broader growth strategy. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide variety of legal documents, including but not limited to commercial, distribution, safety, manufacturing, IT/software, labour, and marketing agreements.
  • Provide proactive guidance on regulatory and compliance matters to ensure full adherence to applicable legal, statutory, and contractual obligations.
  • Support and manage the company’s trademark and patent portfolio in coordination with external IP agents, ensuring robust protection of intellectual property.
  • Oversee and maintain the contracts management system to ensure accessibility, organization, and compliance.
  • Assist in M&A activities, including due diligence, disclosure processes, and the drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Handle and resolve contractual disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements critical to business operations and strategic partnerships.
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
  • 5-10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical (or related field) industry, either in-house at a pharmaceutical company or within a law firm being focused primarily on the pharmaceutical sector (preferred).
  • Experience with corporate & commercial contracts/agreements, IP, compliance, dispute resolution, and data protection.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing market conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of strategy development and execution.
