A global group of companies operating mainly within the oil & gas, energy and marine sectors are working with GRS Recruitment to recruit a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and execute Multiyear Preventive Maintenance schedules, testing and corrective maintenance for all assets that falls within the area of responsibility.

Participates in all relevant planning meetings and submit input that will assist the completion and scheduling of all tasks. Prepares and reviews applicable work permits, work order documents, safety method statements, technical method statements, check lists, risk assessments and all other required documentation for the various tasks.

Responsible for the execution of works according to the health and safety and technical rules and regulations.

Oversees and participates complex installation, repairs and maintenance of a variety of systems based on Vendors Operating and Maintenance manual, industry best practises and sound engineering.

Organizes and supervises workload of in house mechanical technicians.

Raises material requisitions in a timely manner as per the relevant Company’s procedures.

Furnish the 24/7 on – call organization as per the generated on – call schedule.

Reports and discusses accidents, incidents, pollution or emission occurrences and near misses with the supervisor.

Responsible for the day to day operation of the warehouse and for the annual stock taking of the warehouse.

Attends HSE and toolbox meetings and submit his input.

Participates actively in Project management, Vendor/Contractor management, Budgeting and Forecasting
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Mechanical Engineering Degree

5 years + experience in Oil Storage or Heavy Industrial Sector
