GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading Marine, Subsea and SCM Solutions Company who are, currently seeking a Marine Surveyor/Auditor to join their team an upcoming project in Turkmenistan (offshore). This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative project, with the position offered on a temporary short-term contract basis. The successful candidate must have proven experience as a Marine Surveyor / Auditor in the oil and gas industry along with valid offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET, offshore medical, and other relevant certificates)
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect, evaluate, and verify maritime vessels, equipment, and management systems to ensure safety, seaworthiness, and compliance with international regulations

Safety Equipment Verification: Test critical machinery such as emergency fire pumps, lifeboats, pyrotechnics, and fire-fighting gear.

Cargo and Bunker Surveys: Oversee cargo loading and discharging, inspect hatch covers, verify cargo quantities, and conduct independent bunker (fuel) quantity and quality measurements

Environmental & MARPOL Audits: Check operational records and waste-handling procedures to ensure compliance with marine pollution prevention rules.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience as a Marine Surveyor / Auditor in the oil and gas industry

Strong offshore QA/QC experience, specifically during drilling operations

Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET, offshore medical, and other relevant certificates)

Excellent auditing, reporting and communication skills

Ability to mobilise at short notice
