A leading Investment firm is searching for a Trader to join their trading team in Malta. You will execute trades across various financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and currencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading various financial instruments and a proven track record in financial markets, ideally but not necessarily, also on the Malta Stock Exchange. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute trades across various financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and currencies.

Monitor market trends and economic data to help make informed trading decisions.

Collaborate with research analysts and client managers to gather and analyze market information.

Maintain and build relationships with clients, providing market insights and updates.

Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Assist in the Treasury Management function.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in market trading within a financial institution.

Proven track record of successful trading and strong profitability.

In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and instruments.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and make quick, well-informed decisions.

Proficiency in trading software and tools, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar platforms.
