GRS Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a well-known and growing Luxury Retail Brand who are opening a new operation in Nicosia Cyprus. This brand is looking to recruit a talented and dynamic Marketing Director to Develop, execute and manage the Marketing and Communication strategies, plans and functions. The successful candidate will be involved in Brand building, launching, communication planning, PR and Event management to name but a few of these exciting tasks. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To implement established marketing policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.
  • Develop an international marketing/communication plan.
  • Conduct market research and monitors competitor activity to identify opportunities and trends within existing and new market segments.
  • Develop marketing plans for company’s products and brand.
  • Develop and attain key performance indicators for implemented marketing strategies.
  • Manage brand/product introductions, marketing/sales campaigns, promotion/advertising activities and assesses their success against the plan.
  • Develop Company’s yearly global annual calendar of all online and offline communication for all seasons to support the brand and its various seasons in different markets.
  • Develop Annual plans for all regional countries inclusive of all Marketing activities.
  • Advise the buying department on competitors’ pricing and promotional campaigns.
  • Continually monitor product/brand performance and liaises with the sales department to formulate action plans.
  • Develop communication / marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with product development, branding and creative departments to ensure a successful launch of each season.
  • Assist in the production Management: communication production through the line from print material to advertisements throughout OOH, print, TV and below the line collaterals.
  • On-line & Off-line Media planning and booking.
  • Manage all communication with creative agency, along with managing day to day communication.
  • Build and leverage strong relationship with partners and franchised businesses to effectively plan, adapt and implement region / territory appropriate advertising campaigns.
  • Plan & manage the Company’s Regional & local Marketing Budgets.
  • Control the placement of organization advertising and liaise with advertising agencies to develop ideas and campaigns.
  • Generate and evaluate new ideas for promotions, articles, press releases, publicity, etc. and ensure coordination and consistency with internal marketing/advertising professionals.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Educated BA level or the equivalent in Business Marketing emphasis, MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent business knowledge, professional presentation skills.
  • Extensive experience in the marketing profession with a number years experience and senior management level .
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Coaching & counseling.
  • Analytically minded with a passion for understanding marketing trends.
  • Creativity skills.
  • Judgment and decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop, manage and invest in a team.
