GRS Recruitment are working with a fast-growing organisation to appoint a Marketing Manager who will play a key role in shaping and delivering their growth strategy. This is a strategic, high-impact role suited to a commercially astute marketer who combines critical thinking with creativity and a strong delivery mindset. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, guide a small marketing team, and take full ownership of event marketing performance across digital and live channels. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, growth, and execution. The successful candidate will help translate senior management’s growth ambitions into actionable, data-driven marketing plans that build audiences, elevate brand presence, and drive measurable results.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for your department, from concept and planning through to execution and post-event analysis
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align marketing activity with wider commercial and growth objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and support a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Plan, manage, and optimise multi-channel digital campaigns (paid search, display, social, email)
  • Use performance insights and analytics to continuously refine and scale marketing effectiveness
  • Oversee email marketing strategy and campaign planning, working alongside internal specialists
  • Manage media outreach, influencer engagement, and content delivery to amplify event reach
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure social media and digital activity aligns with the overall marketing strategy
  • Ensure digital sponsorship packages are delivered to a high standard and in line with commitments
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing management or leadership role
  • Strong experience delivering B2B and B2C campaigns in fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on
  • A growth mindset with a track record of driving performance and continuous improvement
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and campaign optimisation
  • Experience in fintech, technology, or adjacent sectors is advantageous
