A long-standing company operating in the Food and Beverage industry with shops and offices globally are working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Marketing Manager for their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth. This role involves overseeing various marketing activities, including digital marketing, advertising campaigns, market research and promotional events. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of marketing strategies with the company’s overall business objectives. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that align with the company’s business goals.
  • Manage and oversee all marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze market data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making processes.
Brand Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Develop and manage content for marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and websites.
Digital Marketing:
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to various marketing activities.
  • Track and report on the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Event Planning and Management:
  • Plan and execute promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution.
Strategy Development:
  • Define communication strategy with external partners and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Approve creative materials for all communication channels.
  • Monitor marketing-related productions, including photoshoots, video recordings, websites, radio ads, etc.
Content Approval and Management:
  • Approve and provide content for social media and digital plans.
  • Define media plans and approve actions with media agencies.
  • Evaluate market research results and set marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Innovate new communication methods through stores and direct channels (e.g., web radio, mobile applications).
Product Department Oversight:
  • Define product mix for stores (coffee shop, gift corner, beverages, food, etc.).
  • Establish merchandising guidelines for different stores (create guidelines for stores and training, control, and support departments).
  • Write guidelines and newsletters for new product launches.
  • Evaluate and analyze benchmarking and competitive research.
  • Create and implement product contests and promotional activities.
  • Evaluate store sales statistics.
  • Develop merchandise manuals and train the Operations department on the merchandise plan.
Pricing Strategy:
  • Set pricing policy in collaboration with the Finance and Commercial departments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Strong knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis tools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
