On behalf of our client, a Marketing and Media company based in Cyprus, GRS are seeking to recruit a Media Buyer. This is a remote working position giving the flexibility to candidates to be based in any country as long as the selected candidate has Media Buying experience. The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of Google search, Google display, any native platforms and facebook paid marketing. This is a great opportunity from someone who enjoys working from home/remote and has experience in Media Buying!  
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify target audience
  • Conduct industry research and be up to date with media distribution and audience figures
  • Implement and monitor buying strategies
  • Liaising and building relationships with media, advertising agency and internal customer
  • Negotiate with media to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media inventory across online and offline media channels
  • Book advertising spots, e.g. internet banners impressions, broadcasting slots, pages, posters etc.
  • Communicate with media to adjust media schedule and inventory to optimise marketing campaigns promptly
  • Ensure advertisements implementation accuracy with media
  • Collect and analyse advertising performance including sales and audience data
  • Analyse campaign effectiveness and perform optimisation as well as preparation for future campaigns
  • REMOTE WORKING: Candidates will be working remotely/from home no matter what the location or country
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies or any related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Media Buyer role
  • Experience running A/B split tests and improving conversion rates
  • Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook, native, mobile or pop traffic
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good numerical and data management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of information
