MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

Approaching media partners to negotiate advertising opportunities
-
Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
-
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis

Identifying press opportunities through evolving issues
-
Coordinating and implementing organizational publicity strategies for company events
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or any other related field
-
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position
-
Exceptional negotiation skills
-
Exceptional time management skills
-
Ability to strategize and plan campaigns
-
Willingness to learn about industry trends and innovations
-
Excellent knowledge of media platforms
-
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.

Ability to work independently on assigned duties

Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
