MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting the onboarding processes for M365 Migrations and/or Azure

Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft (on-premises, hybrid and cloud setups)

Reporting and Document all the technical issues and their solutions
-
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure systems and server, and workstation patching
-
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and correct hardware, and software issues on servers and workstations

Maintain and update the inventory system.

Maintain the necessary documentation.

Liaise with our 3rd Party contractors and suppliers as necessary
-
Be proactive and take initiative in new processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Possess Microsoft Office 365 suite and Azure skillset in the areas of Design, Implementation, and Operation
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on client service and solutions
-
Ability to work effectively both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team
-
Experience and knowledge of one or more server operating systems (Windows or Linux)
-
Knowledge and past experience with enterprise storage arrays (SAN) technologies and platforms (FC & iSCSI)
-
Experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise backup solutions for DR/BCP
-
Knowledge and experience with script languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)

Being able to navigate the world of APIs and automation.

Experience in designing, implementing and managing VMware vSphere
-
Experience in installing and configuring servers (physical and VMs) and Active Directory
-
Solid understanding of the components that make up an IT Infrastructure (such as Windows/Linux Servers physical/virtual, pcs, firewalls, F5s, SCCM, WSUS, LogRhythm, Solarwinds etc)

An MQF Level 5 qualification (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, OR previous experience working in an enterprise IT environment, ideally with four years’ experience as a preference.
