An established and leading name in the IT industry are working with GRS to recruit a Network Engineer to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and must have worked on at least two projects. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and configuration of LAN switching IP routing and network security

Primary customer technical contact

Day-to-day operations, maintenance, monitoring, upgrades of networking systems

Problem determination and resolution
-
Working on-site with customers to provide technical support, setup assistance, and technical coverage for unified communications networks

Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support
-
Maintaining multi-site network operations
-
Member of networking solution design and delivery teams
-
Able to carry out site surveys and audits
-
Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
-
Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
-
Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work, troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and be able to accurately diagnose root cause
-
Any other duties as assigned by management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree holder in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic or computer engineering)
-
Member of ETEK
-
5 years of experience in networking in projects similar to GUN (general networking)
-
Involvement on at least two projects of similar nature
-
Fluency in both Greek and English is a must
