GRS Recruitment is working along with a luxury retail brand, who is setting up their offices in Cyprus and is looking to recruit an Office Manager / Accountant in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare accounting records, files, and schedules
  • Update general ledger and conduct the periodically closing of accounts and ensure that all accounts are reconciled properly
  • Manage cashflow to ensure that the company has the required funds to settle it liabilities once they fall due
  • Handle the relationship with company creditors and ensure the agreed payment terms are respected
  • Properly manage the Petty Cash for immaterial expenses
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and governmental laws on accounting and taxes
  • Coordinate for periodic internal and yearly external audit
  • Oversee employee pay checks
  • Calculate net salaries considering deductions and with holdings
  • Manage and ensure payroll and relevant tax documents are accurate and properly archived  
  • Monitor Employees leaves
  • Perform administrative and secretarial work
  • Supervise and coordinate overall administrative activities of the office such as filing, scanning, arranging and coordinating CEO meetings
  • Prepare minutes of meetings
  • Coordinate office operations, procedures to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and submit all bank arrangements, issuing checks and managing bank transfers
  • Provide general assistance to the Office as information research, writing memos and letters.
  • Identify potential suppliers and issues requests for quotations
  • Follow up daily rapid courier documents in and out (samples, pick up, delivery)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or LCCI qualification will be considered an advantage
  • At least 3 years professional accounting experience
  • Experience in Accounting Software
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office suite (Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication and attention to detail skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism
