A growing iGaming company with office abroad is working in partnership with GRS to hire an Onboarding & Payment Services Manager to join their team on a remote basis from Cyprus. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping how the business moves money and enters new markets. In this high-impact position, you will lead payment operations across both fiat and crypto ecosystems, working closely with global providers, internal teams, and regulators to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient payment flows. From driving market expansion through strategic onboarding to optimizing performance and resolving critical issues, you will be at the forefront of the company's growth combining operational excellence, technical coordination, and regulatory insight to deliver real business value.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provider & Payment Coordination

Serve as the main liaison with all payment service providers (FIAT and CRYPTO).

Negotiate terms, SLAs, and oversee escalation of high-impact issues.

Monitor and optimize payment flows, conversions, and reconciliation accuracy.
Market Onboarding & Research

Research registration requirements, licensing obligations, and payment methods in new and existing markets.

Identify and engage with relevant providers for new market/payment solutions.

Lead onboarding processes with providers, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Integration & Technical Oversight

Coordinate with technical teams to manage integrations of new providers and payment methods.

Oversee commercials, API implementations, and performance testing.

Ensure post-integration monitoring via analytics to track adoption, service reliability, and ROI.
Issue Resolution & Value Protection

Resolve high-value operational issues with minimal business disruption.

Implement escalation procedures to mitigate downtime or conversion loss.

Provide reporting to management on payment performance, onboarding progress, and operational KPIs.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory standards across jurisdictions.

Monitor provider performance for adherence to contractual and compliance obligations.

Support internal audits and regulatory inspections related to payment services.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience in payment services, onboarding, or financial operations, preferably covering both FIAT and CRYPTO.

Strong knowledge of payment systems, gateways, reconciliation processes, and regulatory requirements.

Familiarity with market entry processes, licensing, and registration requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for provider and regulator engagement.

Analytical mindset with experience using payment analytics and performance metrics.

Ability to work cross-functionally with Tech, Finance, Legal/Compliance, and Product teams.

Previous working experience managing a team will be considered an advantage.

Flexibility to work from the company HQs abroad for the first months and then work fully remotely from Cyprus.
