GRS Recruitment is working in partnership with a rapidly growing international travel and logistics technology company to recruit an Operations & Product Manager. This role will be instrumental in building and scaling a tech-enabled luggage and cargo recovery solution across key global markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading operational strategy, aligning product development with real-world execution, and enabling exceptional customer experience across partners and platforms.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and document operational workflows for luggage and cargo tracking services.

Collaborate with airport handlers, courier providers, and logistics stakeholders to ensure real-time service delivery.

Develop and enforce SOPs for onboarding third-party logistics partners.

Lead readiness protocols and resolution processes for lost or delayed baggage and cargo.

Act as the bridge between operations, IT, and marketing to ensure product alignment with field requirements.

Test platform features and tracking tools to validate operational usability.

Provide continuous feedback to product teams for platform and UI/UX enhancements.

Translate on-the-ground operational challenges into actionable product requirements.

Define escalation paths and equip 24/7 customer support teams with SOPs.

Support partner onboarding and training, including airlines, OTAs, and insurance providers.

Ensure a seamless integration and rollout of the service across partner ecosystems.

Lead local implementation in key launch markets (initially Europe and the Middle East).

Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of regional vendors and field staff.

Represent the company at trade shows, demos, and industry presentations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience in ground handling, baggage, or cargo logistics within aviation or related industries.

Strong working knowledge of tools like WorldTracer, baggage tracing, and cargo terminal operations.

Familiarity with PIR processes and IATA Resolution 753

Background in digital product rollouts within logistics or aviation is a plus

Ability to develop SOPs, process playbooks, and operational documentation.

Excellent English language skills (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

Highly organised, hands-on, and proactive problem-solver.

Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Willingness to relocate or travel frequently between Cyprus, Dubai, and operational sites.
