Our client, a Scandinavian international company with offices in seven locations around the world, provides content moderation solutions to leading online marketplaces, dating sites, and sharing economy services are now seeking Nordic Speaking Operations Manager to join their Malta team in Malta. You need to be a fluent in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian speaking and writing to native level.   • Managing the assignment team’s activities and deliverables, ensuring all are completed on time and on budget, and align to the client’s strategic business goals.
  • Responsible for interfacing with clients and being the liaison between the client and the internal operations team.
  • Serve as the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and manage internal and external communications, including reporting and status meetings
  • Work with Human Resources department to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees with the behaviours and skills, that meet the company requirements.
  • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, disciplinary action, with the assistance of the Human Resources department, when necessary.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Foster a team culture that is consistent with the overall organisation’s mission, vision, guiding principles and values of the organisation.
  • Responsible for budget tracking, profitability, and financial reporting of the assignment to avoid, and/or resolve shrinkage, budget overages or efficiency issues.
  • Ability to forecast and allocate resources for current and upcoming service needs.
  • Actively review workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepare, monitor, and complete action plans; implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; identify trends.
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Support different workflows, clients, and markets as and when required.
  • Work closely with the management team and Human Resources to implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
  • Support in the assignment operations, where required.
  • Experience in a management position in either e-commerce, Gaming or customer services
  • Fluent in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian and have good knowledge of English.
  • Flexible and able to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in leading a team as a team-leader or manager
  • Commercial with knowledge of profitability (profit and loss responsible)
