GRS are working closely with a multi-asset, regulated service provider offering high quality investment and ancillary services globally. For their team in Limassol, we are currently seeking to recruit an Operations Officer. The successful candidate must have 2-4 years’ experience in securities or financial services and excellent communication skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand securitized derivatives (Turbo warrants) and product lifecycle
  • Comprehend workflows for issuance, changes, settlement flows and dependencies with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and work with stakeholders for any new projects or improvements
  • Hold relationships with external parties abroad and be the point of contact
  • Intervene where issues are spotted and coordinate remediation including setting of controls where needed
  • Monitor quality of service and ensure smooth operation of the issuer
  • Assistance with ad-hoc projects
  • Assistance with back-office matters
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in finance or relevant subject
  • 2-4 years of work experience in securities or financial services
  • Solid understanding of basic market concepts preferably exchanges (MTF’s) and exchange traded products
  • Understand trading basics and leverage
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong interest in technology
  • Highly fluency in English language
  • Great team player
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Professional and reliable
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of ethics and business responsibility, demonstrating ‘substance’, honesty, transparency and integrity
