Our client, a leading international service provider for the gaming industry in Malta is now seeking a Payments Operations Manager to join their rapidly growing team. You will be reporting to the Head of Payment Operations and be leading all technical projects within the payment department. Ideally, you will have previous experience in payment and or risk in iGaming, or other payment solutions or other related experience.  MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance is followed and processes are in place.
  • Processing of all operational payments, manual and automated. 
  • Processing of all settlement and authorization exceptions in a timely manner across all banking and issuer partners
  • Manage internal relationships with other operational departments including Sales, Collections, and Cards in relation to payments and operational matters
  • Perform analysis and propose improvements to current work practices with a focus on system automation
  • Work closely with the Project Management team for all related payments projects as the project sponsor and subject-expert
  • Work closely with the Bank’s compliance department to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations
  • Take ownership of all related documentation including related Terms and Conditions, Internal Policies and Procedures, Internal Operational Guides, and External User Guides
  • Keep adjourned with industry standards, especially in relation to country-specific Payment Behaviour and Card Scheme Mandate.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • You would need to have 5+ years of Risk and payment experience (ideally in iGaming or similar)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Management position
  • A bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or any other related discipline
  • Exceptional Analytical skills
  • Solutions driven with a positive demeanour
  • Flexible with a focus on business needs
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail, and work well under pressure
  • A team player but also able to work under your own initiative and be self-driven
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and a natural service mindset
