GRS Recruitment is working with a newly established Forex and Fintech brand in Limassol that is looking to expand its Payments team with an experienced Payment Operations Specialist / Senior Payment Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day execution and processing of client payments, working across deposits, withdrawals, card transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and cryptocurrency payments. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day processing and execution of client payment transactions.
- Process and monitor deposits and withdrawals across multiple payment methods.
- Handle card payments, including transaction monitoring and reconciliation.
- Process refunds and chargebacks, ensuring they are handled accurately and within required timelines.
- Manage and monitor crypto payment transactions, including deposits and withdrawals where applicable.
- Monitor payment flows and identify failed, pending, rejected, or delayed transactions.
- Investigate payment issues and work with PSPs and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and transaction-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and operational activities.
- Perform payment reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies between internal systems and PSP records.
- Liaise with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), banks, card processors, and cryptocurrency payment providers as required.
- Escalate payment issues and operational risks to the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Finance, Compliance, Risk, Customer Support, and other internal departments to ensure smooth payment operations.
- Assist with monitoring PSP performance, transaction success rates, processing times, and payment-related issues.
- Follow internal payment procedures, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to improving payment processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience in Payments, Payment Operations, Fintech, Forex, Online Trading, E-commerce, or a similar financial services environment.
- Hands-on experience with payment processing and transaction operations.
- Good understanding of deposits, withdrawals, card payments, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Experience working with PSPs and payment providers.
- Exposure to cryptocurrency payments is highly desirable.
- Understanding of payment flows, transaction statuses, reconciliations, and payment investigations.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to investigate and resolve payment issues efficiently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external providers.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €24000 - €42000 Gross Per Annum.
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
