A market leader in global financial services and next-generation multi-channel trading software systems, are working with GRS to recruit a Payment Operations Specialist to join their rapidly expanding Nicosia operation. The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments’ department in the financial industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working directly with a variety of banks, acquirers, and online payments service providers.
  • Being directly involved with the day-to-day management of all processes and procedures related to PSP performance reporting.
  • Assisting with the onboarding of multiple new payment service providers in different countries in accordance with the needs of the Group (including form completion, documents collection and KYC requirements).
  • Assisting the Sales, Customer Support, and Payments Processing team with daily questions related to transactions and rejection reasons.
  • Managing multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, complying with all Standard Operation Procedures. 
  • Performing a competitors’ research for new PSPs. 
  • Creating and maintaining an all-inclusive database related to PSP information, KYC and KYB documents. 
  • Supporting the Head of Payments Operations in ad-hoc projects as required. 
  • Complying with the Company’s internal processes and procedures. 
  • Undertaking any other relevant tasks as assigned by management.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or another related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments’ department in the financial industry.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform data input activities quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work both autonomously but also as part of a team.
  • Very good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Hard working with good interpersonal skills.
  • Work ethic and punctuality.
