Our client, a leading international service provider for the gaming industry in Malta is now due to growth-seeking a Payment Optimization Specialist, to join their rapidly growing team in Malta. To be successful in this role you would ideally have experience in Payment Products and/or Optimisation within iGaming, sports betting or payment companies, or other relevant experience.  If you feel you have the right experience and skills for this role, Gabriella at GRS Recruitment looks forward to receiving your CV for this Malta-based Payment Optimization Specialist Role.
 
 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing internal & external systems as well as fine-tuning tools while ensuring their smooth operation.
  • Onboarding of new PSPs into the platform.
  • Focusing on the continuous improvement of systems and tools for better platform performance.
  • Regularly monitoring PSP performance and diagnosing problems.
  • Maintaining communication between different technical departments and clients on open service tickets.
  • Being available on-call outside regular business hours to resolve urgent payment issues.
  • Working alongside Payment Product and Payment Operations teams and delivering their needs accordingly.
  • Sending reports when required to team leaders/managers. 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Previous work experience with Payment Products and/or Optimisation.
  • Previous work experience in iGaming, Sports betting, or a similar field will be considered a plus
  • Be well versed in the use of English, both verbal and written
  • Have a good working knowledge of core payment processing and risk tools (such as for example; ‘paymentiq’, ‘ThreatMetrix’, ‘Fraudscore’)
  • Knowledge of SQL & CSS will be considered an asset but not essential
  • Have an excellent understanding of the brands, payment flows, and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of Office applications (Excel, Google Sheets etc)
  • Able to prioritize and manage work without losing attention to detail;
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure.
