A well-established international gaming company are working with GRS to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Payroll Processing. The team believe in building solid relations with their partners and customers, and regularly invest in product development in order to satisfy their customers’ needs.   • Receive all the monthly changes in regards with the payrolls (new employees, terminations, salary changes etc.) in order to proceed with the monthly payrolls.
  • Update Ergani (Social insurance new program with new employees) based on the data provided by HR Officers or Payroll Officer.
  • Assist on the preparation of payroll budget
  • Calculation of Tax computation when is necessary (ideally monthly).
  • End to end processing of monthly payroll if needed with the Group HR Director.
  • On-going updating of payroll system.
  • Responsible for the on-time payment of Social Insurance contributions.
  • Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.
  • Checking of leave, sickness and/or maternity/paternity and overtime reports etc.
  • Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting.
  • Payroll administration – filling all documents related to monthly payrolls
  • Preparation of letters when needed for our employees related to payroll data.
  • Organization of the record keeping in a proper and efficient manner for the period required by the legislation and regulations and in a way that enables the examination during ordinary and /or special control visits by all competent authorities (Social Insurance, Tax, Authorities etc.).
  • Calculation and payment of termination payments, maternity, paternity, sickness etc.
  • Coordinate all registrations to the relevant authorities (Social insurance /Tax /Migration).
  • Open bank accounts for newcomers regarding payroll purposes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the final payroll files by our external Accountants and Auditors and proceed with the salaries and contribution payments.
  • Prepare all the relevant draft reports before the finalization of the payrolls in order to be approved by the HR director of the company.
  • Finalize the payroll of our office in Cyprus and proceed with the payment of the salaries and the contributions after the final approval by the Payroll Officer and/or the Group HR Director.
  • Providing monthly pay slips to all employees.
  • Preparation and submission of annual tax returns within required time frames e.g.IR1, IR63 (Employees’ Certificate of Emoluments), IR7 (Employer’s Return).
  • Assist for the preparation of the monthly /yearly Payroll reports (IR63/IR7).
  • Deal with any new rule in regards with the payroll and as instructed by the HR Director.
  • Ensure that all employees get paid on time according to their contract.
  • Assist in any other ad hoc projects assigned by the Group HR Director.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant Accounting and Finance Experience based Cyprus legislation requirements.
  • Very good knowledge in excel advance function.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Payroll processing.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
  • Team-player, able to work under pressure, creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills is a must.
