Our client, one of the leading Advisory firms in Malta that forms part of one of the top global accounting and advisory associations operating in over 90 countries are working alongside GRS to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team within their Accounting Department. The perfect candidate will ideally have 3 - 5 years’ experience with payroll, an understanding of Maltese employee law, and competent use of payroll systems such as Shireburn Indigo, Salaro or similar.   • Manage a team of payroll administrators.
  • Prepare and execute payroll for clients.
  • Handle client’s requests and queries.
  • Assist clients with the onboarding and offboarding of their employees.
  • Ensure client’s records and information are updated and in line with employment regulations.
  • Maintain client confidence in line with GDPR.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in payroll.
  • HR related qualifications will be considered as an asset.
  • Knowledge of Maltese Employment law.
  • Experience in working with HR systems such as Salaroo, Shireburn, Indigo or similar.
  • Ability to communicate excellently in English, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a healthy and successful relationship with clients.
  • Ability to manage a team and assist team members where necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prioritization and time-management skills.
