The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Greek, have a bachelor’s degree, and have at least 5 years’ of experience in shipping/port operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide updated information to principals and masters before, during vessel’s calls and after sailing.

To arrange berthing/ unberthing of vessels without delay and availability of equipment and personnel as may be needed.

To assist with loading/ unloading of cargo operations.

To liaise with customs authorities and arrange for clearance and storage of cargo.

To visit quayside, board the vessel and attend to master’s requirements.

To make all efforts to assist with vessel activities, movements and cargo operations in order to meet vessel schedules and deliverables.

To assist with crew changes and port immigration formalities.
-
To promptly prepare all documentation and update the authorities’ operating system with necessary information/documentation.

To manage the team of port operators and overlook all procedures
-
To be available to work AOH/ Weekends/ Holidays if needed
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor degree
-
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in shipping/port operations/vessel management
-
Good knowledge of computers
-
Very good written and verbal Greek and English is a must
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Team player with positive attitude
-
Willingness to handle routine functions
-
Well-presented, with good manners
-
Good co-ordination skills
-
Willingness to work out of normal office hours

Managerial experience is a must
