DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Taking direct responsibility for client relationships and managing client needs across the different spectrum of services.
  • Conducting period client meetings (in-person or virtual) and portfolio reviews.
  • Adhering to all relevant financial regulation in the conduct of these client relationships while following internal compliance policies, and maintaining an ethical, client-first approach in line with the Company's philosophy.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client profiles to satisfy regulatory requirements including thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, and obtaining the necessary documentary evidence for source of wealth and source of funds.
  • Keeping continuously informed about market trends, economic conditions, and geopolitical events that could impact client portfolios.
  • Participating as a member in the in-house Investment Committee.
  • Generally performing or assisting with any other task as may be required from time to time and as may be reasonably associated with your role.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Possess an MFSA approved investment services-related qualification, such as CeFA, CFA, B.Com (Hons, Banking & Finance) or Masters in Financial Services.
  • Have a minimum work experience in a similar post of at least three years.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial markets, both local and foreign.
  • Be familiar with local and EU regulation, particularly the MFSA Conduct of Business rules and anti-money laundering rules.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Be mature and responsible with a high degree of attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Must be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritise daily workload while working accurately and efficiently
  • Be fluent in English (and preferably also Maltese)
  • Candidates who are already approved by the MFSA to provide portfolio management will be given preference.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €45,000 - €55,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
