Our respected client, a well-established CYSEC CIF company in Nicosia, is seeking a dedicated Portfolio/Risk Manager to join their team. As a result of our clients continued growth, they are looking to recruit an additional professional to join either its Portfolio Manager or Risk Manager departments (subject to CYSEC approval and skillset) involved with a diverse set of Funds. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyse risk exposures across portfolios, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
- Support the senior risk management team with regular risk assessments and reporting
- Identify potential risks in client portfolios and recommend mitigation strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to risk and compliance within the financial services industry
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management
- Contribute to ongoing review and enhancement of risk management frameworks
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics preferable. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g. CAIA, ACA, ACCA,) is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in the following sectors: Fund Management, Financial analysis, Audit or Fund Administration in relation to Funds, Real Estate Assets , Loans or SPV structures.
- Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate (preferable but not obligatory at this stage. Training will be provided)
- Understanding of investment principles, AIFMD, UCITS and MIFID
- English and Greek speaker
- Familiarity with any financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar) is a plus
