The successful candidate will have knowledge of the Cyprus construction industry and market of construction materials. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing and managing purchase orders within assigned areas of purchase

Managing and supporting the RFx process

Control, administration and update of internal databases (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)

Tracking deliveries
-
Following up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders, invoices, settings of account, delivery etc.

Preparing cost analyses, reporting
-
Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
-
Supporting procurement specialists and other stakeholders, back up for absent team members
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Advanced MS Excel skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Proactive approach with ownership

Good customer-focus skills

Ability to reach an agreement with a customer while keeping the best possible conditions

Experience in procurement of purchase-related occupations

Knowledge of the Cyprus construction industry and market of construction materials

Experience in ordering construction materials from abroad and organizing logistic procedures

Basic knowledge of equipment specifications
-
Understanding or experience with BOQ would be an advantage
