An international gaming company is looking for a Product/Marketing Business Analyst to join their team in Malta on a remote basis. You will drive key business decisions and collaborate with the Product & Marketing department to enhance product offerings, optimize marketing strategies, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics, or other related field and at least 4 years’ experience in Data/Business Analysis and/or Business Intelligence related roles, preferably within the gaming or iGaming industries. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with either the Product or Marketing department as an experienced analyst and providing actionable commercial insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic decisions - whether it be analyzing the performance of a new product feature or a recent marketing campaign.
- Collaborate with the Data team who are making sure that the data you need is easily accessible, while still engaging hands-on with the data you need to obtain the necessary insights if needed.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product or marketing initiatives.
- Provide recommendations based on market insights to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Analyze user feedback and behaviour to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Assist in the development of product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on data-driven insights.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Provide insights to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement efforts.
- Present your insights and recommendations on a regular basis to senior management and other stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Strong curiosity for data, diving deep into it to extract commercial insights and make confident, actionable predictions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics, or other related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Data/Business Analysis and/or Business Intelligence related roles, preferably within the gaming or iGaming industries.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience with market research and competitive analysis (will be considered as a plus).
- Familiarity with either B2C product management and development processes or B2C digital acquisition or CRM.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven expertise in product data and business analysis, characterized by a keen focus on comprehending organizational requirements and establishing sophisticated data analysis frameworks to furnish actionable insights.
- Highly autonomous approach to work with the capacity to independently oversee and manage responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights to stakeholders from different departments.
