A leading Bank / EMI is searching for a Provider Partnerships Manager to join their team in Malta (or remotely). You will act as a bridge between service providers and the Company, together with sourcing new service providers, negotiate agreements, coordinate integration projects, and manage relationships. The perfect candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a Financial and/or Technology SaaS company and have great Project Management skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee commercial and strategic exchanges with key partners
  • Understand business needs and identify service providers to satisfy requirements
  • Network and build relationships with service providers and partners
  • Negotiate and establish commercial agreements
  • Seek joint sales opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Management, Product Strategy and Product Development to source and implement solutions
  • Responsible for managing services providers that we use to deliver our clients services, will be managing  core partners.  Be determined and focused, comfortable in negotiations  to sit with suppliers and to build strong, long-lasting relationships to deliver service. 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Previous experience in FinTech would be ideal.

  • Experience with cards and/or payments would be an added bonus.

  • Have a good understanding of financial services and the technology that underpins it.

  • Great communication and negotiating skills

  • Organisational, time and project management skills
  • Good technical skills to hold meaningful conversations with suppliers in an API-first world
  • Attentive to detail
  • Experience in the Cards industry will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in relationship management and/or escalations (from an operational POV) would be ideal.
  • Do not necessarily need to have a technical background, however you need to appreciate technology and understanding the language would definitely be beneficial.
