GRS are recruiting on behalf of our established client, specialized in the supply, installation, repair, maintenance of laundry systems especially designed for large establishments, and currently recruiting a Purchasing and Logistics Clerk for their Malta-based commercial office. The successful Purchasing and Logistics Clerk will be trained from scratch in the role and be experienced in customers service, ideally purchasing on logistics. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Making rate quotations.

Negotiate contracts and tariffs.

Keeping data updated and stored in specific software.

Daily follow-up with couriers of all dispatches

Liaising with the warehouse with regards to dispatch of the goods

Supporting and coordinating the purchasing team in their daily activities

Compliance activity in terms of application of policies and procedures

Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Possess an education in International Politics or International relations or International Trade or International transport law and logistics or similar.

Previous minimum experience in shipping & logistics or supply chain and import- export.

Ability to work in a team and independently

Proficient in written and spoken English (and preferably a second language: Italian or Hindi or Spanish.)
