A leading Electronic Money Institute is searching for an experienced QA Engineer to lead their Dev team in Malta. You’ll be part of the software development team, and work with different stakeholders to ensure the quality of software through both manual and automated testing. The perfect fit will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field and proven experience as a QA Engineer. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify test requirements for the features under development

Implement and maintain back-end and front-end automated tests

Identify, report and verify software weaknesses

Collaborate with the software development team to solve application faults

Liaise with other stakeholders to fully understand system requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field

Previous experience working as a QA Engineer

Have a good understanding of software testing processes and techniques
-
Familiarity with programming languages (preferably Java) and databases
-
Excellent analytical skills
-
Advanced programming skills
-
A keen eye for detail

Excellent project management skills

Highly advantageous if you have –

Experience in non-functional testing

Knowledge of REST-assured, Cypress, and Jira
