MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviewing requirements and specifications, technical design documentation, creating detailed test plans, executing tests, and documenting test results

Participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials

Conduct tests as appropriate

Execute test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools

Track and report on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving a high level of quality

Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, and to ensure that products meet the required quality standards

Gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage

Responsible for identifying and reporting defects, and for tracking and verifying defect fixes

Participate in technical scope and deliverables meetings

Participate in business reviews of requirements where appropriate

Some Sunday work (approximately once a month) is required for post release testing
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
-
Solid experience in QA or similar role
-
QA training is advantageous. Strong knowledge of testing tools and testing methodologies
-
Hands-on technical experience in testing of software projects
-
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development

Website and Mobile Applications QA experience

Prior financial trading firm experience and/or familiarity with option pricing mode

Business intelligence and analytics basic knowledge
-
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-
Fluent English both verbal and written
-
Knowledge of Redmine or any other ticketing system
