A prominent maritime industry group is hiring a QHSE & Compliance Executive. The chosen candidate will bridge regulatory requirements and operational functions, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and legal compliance. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Maintain and develop Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems.
  • Obtain permits for all group facilities.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, maintaining Group accreditations.
  • Advise on QHSE matters, ensuring compliance with statutory, company, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor Legislative compliance and update group documents.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments for all departments and address identified risks.
  • Report QHSE performance to top management and statutory authorities.
  • Integrate QHSE into core operations through collaboration with management and employees, supported with training.
  • Manage insurance cover, liaise with authorities and Classification Societies, conduct.
  • compliance checks, and handle certification processes for yachts.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
  • Applicant should be EU National residing in Malta and available immediately for employment.
  • Expertise in EHS regulations, with a focus on practical application.
  • Proven track record in risk assessment and management.
  • Skilled in conducting audits with a focus on risk control.
  • Proficient in legal requirements governing compliance efforts.
  • Strong communicator across diverse audiences.
  • At least three years of experience, preferably within the Marine Industry.
  • Availability to travel to Group Offices located in various areas in the Mediterranean)
