On behalf of our established client, a pharmaceutical company with operations in Malta and worldwide, manufacturing APIs, GRS Recruitment is seeking to recruit a Quality Systems Manager.  The selected candidate shall report directly to the Head of Quality Management.   • Supports the development, control, improvement of the quality principle of the company, national and international GMP Guidelines and internal quality requirements.
  • Daily interaction with professional colleagues in all function groups to be updated, and to understand how they contribute and impact upon quality.
  • Ensures the registration, investigation, and processing of complaints.
  • Ensures the application of quality systems defined by global corporate.
  • Reviews organizational processes and corresponding roles and responsibilities.
  • Enforces the existing Quality principles and SOPs in the site Malta
  • Responsible to establish, maintain and develop workflows within the team.
  • Coordinates the manpower and workload of the team.
  • Ensures with the Head of Quality Management that appropriate resources to perform the tasks and duties of the team are available. Evaluates new personnel in collaboration with the head of QM.
Ensures the management of the following quality systems within the team:
  • Change Control Management
  • SOP and training Management
  • Documentation Management
  • Leads external/internal audits and health authorities inspections
  • Customer questionnaires and self-assessments
  • Leading the overall process of planning of internal audits
  • Preparation of different quality statements
  • Supplier/Vendor qualification
  • Pest control
  • Maintenance of the SMF
  • Digital quality management software
  • CAPA Management
  • CSV Validation
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or a related field, and at least 5 years’ experience working within Quality systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Having a QP Status or eligible to be a QP is considered an asset.
  • Possess the ability to lead a team, having strong communication skills
  • Analysing and troubleshooting problems, identifying solutions, recommending, and implementing methods, procedures and/or techniques for resolution.
  • Responsible for developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for the Company and its supply chain.
