On behalf of our Client, a well-established , highly respected Construction Group, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Limassol. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Quantity Surveyor to be based in Limassol.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and analyze BOQs from external consultants, providing detailed correction tables and cost guidance
  • Gather all required documentation (drawings and specifications) from the Design Department and unit rate tables from the Procurement Department
  • Review project drawings and specifications and coordinate with the Design Department to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Monitor and manage cost control activities, including checking progress payments, handling change orders, and preparing final accounts
  • Perform re-measurements for the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) when required to ensure accuracy and alignment with project changes and site conditions
  • Stay updated with the Design Department manual, project specifications, and related requirements.
  • Implement company tender templates, measurement standards, and pricing preambles (BOQ, method of measurement, pricing preambles, etc.)
  • Provide additional clarification or support to consultants upon request regarding our company's requirements
  • Maintain organized records of all cost documentation for audits and reference
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Professional degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency MS Office, AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of iTOW CostX is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks or projects efficiently.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Strong organizational, planning, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Fluent in both English and Greek (spoken and written)
