We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to join our Regulatory Services team within a Corporate Service firm Malta Office, focusing on Risk Management and Internal Audit. This is a client-facing leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, monitor and assess various risks associated with the client operations;

Draft and update client risk management policies and risk registers;

Contribute towards the innovation, development and enhancement of risk management products;

Utilise, implement and enhance risk management modelling and software;

Assist in the compilation of risk manager reports for presentation during Board of Directors’ meetings and attending board meetings;

Interact with clients on risk management matters;

Provide risk management training within the team as may be required;

Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in relation to risk management;

Be open to taking regulated appointments relating to risk;

Monitor and ensure client adherence with risk management requirements and limits as may be applicable;

Carry out general duties including but not limited to liaising with other departments within the Group, and assisting in other ad-hoc duties as may arise due to the exigencies of the operation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum five (5) years of continuous hands-on experience in risk management.
- Recognised professional certification in risk management.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Work experience in the payment services sector.
- Approved PQ Status with the MFSA.
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and control methodologies.
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Meticulous, organised, and highly attentive to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and research new regulations and methodologies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving aptitude.
