One of the world’s largest financial services companies, are working with GRS to recruit a Risk Analyst to join their Limassol team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Back Office accounting with knowledge of statistical and risk analysis and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high fluency in English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Analyse client behavior and identify high risk activity in the financial systems.
  • Run the prevention of money laundering protocols, including verification of accounts
  • Operate the risk management protocol and communicate with their banking and processing partners in an effort to reduce the company's risk of exposure to fraud (unauthorised use of cards/accounts, money laundering).
  • Operate the risk management protocol with other interfaces and company’s departments.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to the Risk Manager involving damage control and exposures.
  • Approve and monitor withdrawal requests according to the service level agreements provided by the Operations Department.
  • Identify 3rd party payments and handle them according to the company’s policy.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Previous experience in Back Office administration and accounting
  • Knowledge of statistical and risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high fluency in English.
  • Detail oriented and focused.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and with strict deadlines.
  • Strong sense of professionalism, organisational and analytical skills.
  • Relevant academic degree would be favorable.
  • Working hours are 08:00-17:00 and 12:00-20:00 on a weekly rotation.
