Our client a global leading provider of industry-focused assurance, tax, and advisory services for its clients and their stakeholders, are now seeking a Risk and Regulatory Consultant to join their Advisory team in Malta. This is an international company with global reach in more than 150 countries, well trusted globally. To be successful in this role you would ideally have a related education background in Banking, Finance, Accounting or similar and as it is a senior role have good experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enhancing your understanding of the business of banking, banking regulation, and risk management practices
  • Gaining experience by working directly with major banks and other financial institutions in Malta.
  • Continuously have on-the-job training to further develop your skills
  • Contributing and being part of a dynamic team that show considerable expertise and pride in their work
  • Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Developing relationships across the company internally and externally.
CANDIDATE PROFILE  
  • Ideally 2 years work experience within the Financial Services sector, with a strong consulting mind-set 
  • A qualification in accountancy, banking, finance, management, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a ‘win-win’ attitude
  • Agile and able to embrace new changes in the sector, providing advice and solutions to clients.
  • Drafting and presenting reports for clients’ senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive on meeting deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive mindset
  • Open-minded, practical, and agile with change
  • Love learning with a drive to stay up to date with industry and market trends.
