GRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading Cyprus Investment Firm to recruit a hands-on Risk Manager. This role is operational and focuses exclusively on the risk management function, ensuring the company’s compliance with CySEC regulations and effective management of all risk-related activities.
The successful candidate will be an active member of the Risk Management Committee and will be responsible for the day-to-day risk oversight, maintaining risk registers, and preparing regulatory reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a risk professional with practical experience in Cyprus Investment Firms to take ownership of a dedicated Risk Manager role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage the company’s risk function – identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and regulatory risks.

Maintain and update the internal Risk Register, ensuring KRIs and best practices are implemented.

Organize and actively contribute to Risk Management Committee meetings.

Prepare and supervise periodic regulatory reports and submissions, including Risk Management Reports, Pillar I, II, and III obligations.

Conduct ongoing risk assessments and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the business.

Monitor the company’s risk exposures and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Provide training to Senior Management and staff on risk regulatory requirements and best practices.

Stay up to date with local and EU legislation, rules, and guidance relating to risk management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business, or related field.

At least 2 years’ experience as a Risk Manager in a regulated company, preferably within Cyprus Investment Firms.

CySEC Advanced Certificate holder – mandatory.

Fluent in English (oral and written).

Strong knowledge of risk management tools and techniques and their practical implementation.

Ability to complete projects and reports accurately and on time.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
