Our client, a leading provider of industry-focused assurance, tax, and advisory services for its clients and their stakeholders are now seeking a Risk Manager to join their Malta team. This is an international company with global reach in more than 150 countries, well trusted by both clients and employees with excellent career development and progression. The Risk and Quality team identifies and assists internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. As part of the team, you’ll provide advice to business teams within the business on sound contract provisions, standards, and approaches in accordance with the policies, principles, and standards of the industry and the company at large. To be successful in this role you would ideally have at least 2 years’ experience with Risk Management and a dedicated aptitude to learn more and grow. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Provide advice to engagement teams with regards to internal policy and procedures, and external regulations
  • Assist in the developing and/or updating of policies and practice aids to assist teams in their service delivery to external clients
  • Assist in planning and carrying out of risk management related quality management monitoring processes as part of quality control procedures
  • Provide support for external inspections and internal review support
  • Develop and deliver training
  • Coach and lead more junior members
  • Ad-hoc projects related to your field
CANDIDATE PROFILE  
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Possess an ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and the confidence and maturity to deal with all levels of staff
  • Able to analyse issues, use multiple sources of information to develop solutions, and provide pragmatic recommendations
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks and projects
  • The ability to take the initiative but keep others informed of progress and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Have a positive work attitude and eagerness to learn
  • An excellent team player
