GRS Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading global fintech media, events and marketing group for an experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial growth of an international events portfolio. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing commercial team. The successful candidate will have strong experience within fintech, online trading, financial services, B2B events, or related sectors, alongside a proven track record of delivering revenue targets and building successful sales teams.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Drive sponsorship, exhibition, partnership, and upselling opportunities across the events portfolio.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, KPI tracking, and commercial reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, sponsors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and represent the business at industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and leadership teams to ensure commercial success.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of sales experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven success in achieving revenue targets and leading sales teams.
  • Experience within fintech, online trading, financial services, or B2B events.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in international markets.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €60,000 - €84,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
