GRS are working with a reputable Oil & Gas company, expanding in environmental and sustainability projects, is seeking to recruit a Sales Engineer for their offices in Larnaca. The successful candidate will be assisting with selling and installation of energy products or services, providing site-specific analysis and lead the design of solar and other energy projects. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the electrical engineering team with installations of photovoltaic systems 
  • Conducts customer need analysis and presenting the customer with possible solutions
  • Understands product’s functionality and possible problems and figuring out a way to handle them
  • Manages detailed layout design for the development pipeline of solar energy projects
  • Conducts research of products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
  • Takes part in exhibitions, conventions and other events to help in the sales of products and/or service and contributes to the promotion of the company's products and services through promotion and marketing events
  • Attends to social/corporate events that could be held outside normal working hours within the workplace and other venues
  • Has in-depth technical knowledge about the products, functioning and their pros and cons and carries out trainings to members of the team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professionals and sends quotations and technical specs to potential buyers
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services
  • Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislations and anticipating future legislation
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
  • Attends to trainings and health and safety meetings
  • Searches for new customers and to increase clientele.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Electrical Engineer Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Technical Background in Heating and Cooling solutions or photovoltaic systems can be considered and advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
  • Fully developed IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and internet savvy
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Team player and problem Solver
  • Excellent communication skills
