MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement accounting records of day-to-day transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc.)

Meeting deadlines for monthly closings and reconciliations, preliminary review, and analysis of the trial balance, while also providing explanations when requested.

Preparation of daily bank balances

Preparing and submitting vat returns
-
Resolving vat, tax and audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance

Maintains historical records by filing documents
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Fluency Greek and English, both verbal and written
-
A Degree/Qualification in Accounting or similar field is an advantage

1-2 years of experience minimum in a similar post

Ability to work under pressure and as a team member
