MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and manage vendor invoices and payment transactions accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain supplier records and documentation.
- Track and manage the acquisition and disposal of fixed assets.
- Ensure proper depreciation calculations and asset valuations.
- Prepare fixed asset reports and analyses as required.
- Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including payroll taxes.
- Prepare payroll tax returns and ensure timely remittance to tax authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT regulations and ensure compliance in invoicing and reporting.
- Prepare payroll tax reports accurately and on time.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for management.
- Provide detailed analyses of accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll expenses.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to accounts payable and payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant specializing in accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and payroll tax requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
