Our client, a well established and expanding international Accounting firm based in Paphos, is seeking to hire an ambitious Senior Accountant to join their growing team. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience in a similar post, as well as being partly qualified ACCA or having already achieved a qualification in an Accounting or Finance related field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing records in our accounting software for a portfolio of both local and international clients

Preparation of VAT & VIES & Payroll
-
Preparation of annual tax returns (IR1, IR7, IR63, IR59 etc.)

Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the IFRSs and Cyprus Companies Law
-
Communication with the Department of Taxation
-
Communication with clients
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
At least two years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role (preferably with an accounting/audit firm)

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Word & Excel & Outlook

Knowledge of Accounting software/s (BTMS, Sage)

Familiarity with Caseware will be considered an advantage

Strong Analytical and communication skills

Able to work under pressure and deliver results and tasks on time

University degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related fields, and/or Holder of LCCI Higher or CAT qualified and/or ACCA Qualified or Partly Qualified professional and trustworthy

Fluent in Greek and English, both verbal and written is a must
