A leading international telecommunications company is looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to join their expanding team to handle an array of accounting duties under the guidance of the Head of Finance. The ideal person will have at least an A Level of education in accounts and 3 years’ experience in this field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating, sending, following up and reconciling of customer invoices.

Checking supplier invoices and processing payments once approved.

Take charge of overseeing, manning, and reconciling bank accounts.

Working closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve any billing-related disputes on supplier invoices.

Ensuring transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.

Reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
-
Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with various internal departments and/or customers.

Preparation of VAT, tax and statutory reporting.

Preparation of management accounts.

Undertaking all assigned work in an organised and methodical way and ensuring that key deadlines are respected at all times.

Assisting with the external financial statements audit process and liaising with external auditors and Consultants.

Providing assistance to stakeholders and customers as needed.

Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions within the company.

Assisting the Head of Finance with other duties as required.

Any other task assigned by the Head of Finance or management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
An advanced level of education in Accounts and three years of experience; or five years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong teamwork approach.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
