A well-established professional services firm, is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a highly motivated and experienced Senior Advisory Compliance Consultant to join our client’s Advisory team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will contribute to regulatory compliance engagements, including anti-financial crime (AFC) matters, and support clients across various industries in navigating complex regulatory environments. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound regulatory knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality advisory services.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to compliance advisory engagements covering regulatory compliance frameworks, including anti-financial crime (AML/CFT, sanctions, and related regulations).
  • Interpret and analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact on client operations.
  • Participate in compliance reviews, gap analyses, risk assessments, and the development of advisory deliverables.
  • Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct research on regulatory developments and emerging compliance trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, internal policies, manuals, and regulatory submissions.
  • Engage with clients across diverse industries, adapting to varying regulatory requirements and project scopes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international regulatory developments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory advisory, or anti-financial crime.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and anti-financial crime requirements.
  • CySEC Advanced Certification and/or CAMS certification will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and provide practical guidance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
