A well-established professional services firm, is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a highly motivated and experienced Senior Advisory Compliance Consultant to join our client’s Advisory team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will contribute to regulatory compliance engagements, including anti-financial crime (AFC) matters, and support clients across various industries in navigating complex regulatory environments. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound regulatory knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality advisory services.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to compliance advisory engagements covering regulatory compliance frameworks, including anti-financial crime (AML/CFT, sanctions, and related regulations).

Interpret and analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact on client operations.

Participate in compliance reviews, gap analyses, risk assessments, and the development of advisory deliverables.

Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Conduct research on regulatory developments and emerging compliance trends.

Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, internal policies, manuals, and regulatory submissions.

Engage with clients across diverse industries, adapting to varying regulatory requirements and project scopes.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international regulatory developments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory advisory, or anti-financial crime.

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and anti-financial crime requirements.

CySEC Advanced Certification and/or CAMS certification will be considered an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and provide practical guidance.

Strong organizational and project management skills.
