MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out AML Customer File reviews
- Carrying out periodic Thematic Customer File reviews
- Reviewing AML Regulatory customer file reviews of team members
- Carrying out regular jurisdictional risk assessments while utilising related tools and technologies
- Supporting the team in carrying out Transaction Monitoring
- Analysing and replying to the requests for information sent by the Asset Recovery Bureau (ARB)
- Observing AML Policies and Procedures
- Drafting and reviewing internal policies and procedures
- Assisting the Manager and Compliance function with review and amendments of the Companies’ policies and procedures, the Compliance Monitoring Programme and the Compliance Diary
- Providing regulatory and legislative development updates to the Manager
- Assisting the Risk Manager with the updating of the Risk Management Policy, Risk Registers, conferring information to the manager and the management, and attending relevant training
- Assisting the Manager and Compliance Officer with compliance and regulatory submissions to the competent authorities
- Providing support to the company’s MLRO, the Compliance Officer, the Manager and the team on ad hoc tasks and projects
- Responsible for the organisation and upkeep of all Company-related sensitive data
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- The ideal candidate will have three (3) to four (4) years’ experience in a similar role
- AML/CFT and/or financial crime qualifications will be considered an asset
- Excellent working knowledge and experience with AML requirements in our industry
- Familiarity with company secretarial processes will be considered a strong asset
- Experience with Viewpoint will be considered an asset
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Must be highly organised, meticulous and methodical, with the ability to work under pressure
- Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- An understanding of strict confidentiality is paramount for this role
