On behalf of our client, an established international corporate services provider with offices in multiple location across Europe, Americas & Asia, GRS are now working alongside them to recruit a Senior Anti Money Laundering Officer to join their new division in the Middle East. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, a vast knowledge of KYC requirements, compliance, and money-laundering regulations and strong leadership skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the AML Manager on the day to day operational and strategical matters

Contribute to the development and growth of the AML/CFT Unit

Assist and where necessary, spearhead initiatives and projects interrelated to the evolvement of the AML Unit

Manage the AML Executives/Officers’ tasks and performance

Draft, review and sign detailed reports of the findings identified during AML examinations in a timely manner

Present the findings together with supporting evidence to the relevant administrative and/or judicial bodies

Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on AML matters and queries

Attend and represent the firm in meetings and conferences both local and abroad, when necessary

Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Ability to organise and present findings and recommendations in a logical and comprehensible manner (both verbal and written)

Excellent command of English language (both written and spoken)

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role

A minimum of one (1) year experience in a people / team leadership position

Strategic, critical and analytical thinking

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment

Ability to take ownership and act in line with agreed KPIs

Leadership skills and ownership of work and projects

Sound knowledge of AML Laws and Regulations governing the Middle East
